APIT was founded in the year 2016 by Shashikumar Thimmaiah in Bangalore with a US-based Company.  He is born and brought in Kolar District, Karnataka holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career as a charging man in KSRTC  then worked in  Milltec Machinery Pvt Ltd, Agritech Engineering Pvt Ltd, and Rashi Info Solutions Pvt Ltd then started his dream Company APIT  which has created a larger impact on Foodgrain Processing Methods. Now APIT is a successful company operating in India and in many other countries like Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nigeria, Kenya, Europe, and South Asia.

The APIT plant can be constructed in minimal time with less investment which can give better returns in the long-lasting period. APIT helps its customers in building reliable, quality, and long-lasting Technology. All the machinery is integrated with modern technology and automated systems.

Parboiling Technology and Super Ageing technology are fully automated aging cookers that remove the moisture with both natural and artificial dryers that yield in best cooking results without discoloration and less cost.

Drying Technology uses dryers that consume half of the energy of Conventional dryers without breaking the grains and yielding higher quality grains.

Wheat Technology is a temporary conditioning process in which wheat gel tempering is used in changing the quality of the flour.

Seed Technology is the process of removing the excess amount of chemicals or pests in the seeds before sowing them to the land which may lead to better crop yield.

The complete system of paddy processing is automated in which rehydration system for parboiling, completion hydration system with automated software, DSGC for “Gel Cook”, Invention of Super aging Technology which gives 12% to 15% of additional cooking yield, Process Automation for Parboiling and Aging, Artificial Intelligence for parboiling, Bioprocess Engineering on scratch, IOT for the visualization of Process, Data analysis, adoption and acquisition for Paddy Processing.

APIT is the youngest startup to reach Rs.100 crores on project execution in a year.
